Privacy Notice

Ediscovertek Solution LLP ("we") operates EduAbility AI and is the data controller for personal data processed through it. For student information that schools enter, the school decides why it is used and we process it on the school's behalf.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login details) — to create and run your account. Basis: contract.
• Student and plan content (names, grade, age, needs, goals, notes you enter) — to generate and store plans and materials. Basis: contract, and the school's or parent's lawful basis and consent.
• Family link activity (visits, matching card taps, home notes) — to show progress to educators. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the service. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages — to help you. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.

Who we share data with

• Service providers for hosting, database and AI processing.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sales, subscriptions, payments, tax and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting).
• Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under India's DPDP Act and the GDPR), you can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. We respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.

Cookies

We only use essential storage needed for sign-in and for the payment window. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear them in your browser settings, but sign-in will stop working.
